Mt Walker Haflingers, a breeding operation southwest of Brisbane at Mount Walker Queensland, is owned and run by Maxine Hobbs Laing, a dedicated horsewoman who has had a connection to the breed for more than 40 years.
2022 Haflinger of the year went to Bold as Brass Lia ( Abendsturm (Imp) x Lightning). Runner up went to Ventico Stryder.
A lovely day was held at Fernances Creek for the classification of 10 horses. Followed by a superb lunch hosted by Sharon.
This year National Pony of the Year 2019 in NSW was well represented by the AHHBA Members.
The Rare Breeds Ring at the Summer Show was well represented by AHHBA members in Victoria. The horses were well turned out and the members looked they were having a great time. Thanks Amanda Flood, Sue Kowalski and Melissa Hogg for the photos.
On Sunday the 7/10/18 we had the opportunity to attend the AHHBA Classification at Rosymoon Haflinger stud. It was a lovely day, very well organised, with a friendly atmosphere.
